Midi Mantra

Are you stuck in a style nut? Need a wardrobe update for winters? Looking up for something trendy lately? Wait! Let me help you! J
Forget the mini & the maxi, midi skirts are the only length worth wearing right now. Wearing skirts can be tricky for some girls as some don’t want to expose too much legs in a mini while others can’t stand the thought of a maxi! Luckily this season, a new silhouette is making its mark which has an accurate length. As we know fashion keeps itself streamlined by rewinding its trends again & again, these midi skirts may seem more 1950 than 2014, but trust me they are taking the runaway & street by storm.
This year everyone is wearing the midi because its chic, classic, polite yet so cool.
I would like to share some points to be remembered while wearing a midi skirt...

The Midi Mantra-:

*Midi skirts looks quite good if you team them up either with some fitted crop top or a bustier. Since these skirts are longer in length, you can definitely add that feminine edge in your outfit by experimenting wih the top part.
*If baring your silver stomach isn't quite your style. I have also tips for making it a more polished look. My secret formula is to combine it with a 3/4th sleeved form fitting top, always tucked in (just like I’ve done in my look).

*Unless you’ve a model like height, the midi skirt requires a specific footwear. First, you must absolutely wear a heeled shoe (compulsory) because flats are not your friends for this occasion.
A thin strappy sandal or a classic pump is ideal.
*Try to keep yourself a minimalist when it comes to accessorizing as it can withdraw the attention from your skirt if you wore chunks of jewellery.
I hope this will help you while styling your own midi skirt.
So will you be trying out the midi trend? And If so, in what way?
Tell me in the comments below.
Have a nice sunday everyone.
